The environment
We are located in the rural setting between Kortrijk and the French border near the statue of the ‘ Sjouwer’, alongside the E17 highway, 5 miles from the cities of Kortrijk (Courtray) and Moeskroen (Mouscron).
The surrounding countryside is calm and peaceful, disturbed only by the noise of a tractor passing by or the lowing of a cow in the nearby pasture.
Within walking distance, you can find fine restaurants (St Cornil, St Georges, Lucaty,..) and Farmhouse de Leute, where you can taste many Belgian beers and healthy snacks during the weekend.
For the sport freaks among you there are many possibilities within a 10 mile range: swimming, horseback riding, indoor climbing and caving, archery, parachute jumping,…
Whenever weather conditions are favourable we will gladly take you out on a chariot ride, pulled by Tommy, our Haflinger pony.
